Ross Dress for Less will open its store in Watchung on Saturday, March 8. The new 25,000-square-foot store will be located in the Watchung Square Mall Shopping Center at the southwest corner of Route 22 and Gray Street, bringing more budget-friendly fashion and home goods to the area.

Ross, known for offering name-brand apparel, accessories, footwear, and home decor at significantly lower  prices than department stores, is expanding its footprint in New Jersey. It has about a dozen locations in the Garden State.

The retailer currently operates more than 1,800 nationwide, with stores in 43 states, Washington, D.C., and Guam. Another location is set to open the same day in Trumbull, Connecticut, as part of the company's Northeast expansion.

Alongside its sister brand, dd's DISCOUNTS, Ross operates more than 2,100 stores, catering to shoppers looking for everyday deals. The company, headquartered in Dublin, California, reported $20.4 billion in revenue in the 2023 fiscal year, solidifying its position as the largest off-price fashion and home retailer in the US.

With its latest expansion, the retailer continues to grow its presence in the region, giving New Jersey shoppers another option for scoring big savings on popular brands.
